Parks & Recreation "Bears" Program

  • Veterans Memorial Park 109 Scenic Drive Lackawaxen, PA (map)

The black bear is one of Pennsylvania's most iconic and fascinating wild neighbors. In this informative program, the National Park Service takes a closer look at the bears that share our region — their habits, habitats, diet, and behavior throughout the seasons. Whether you've spotted one in the woods or simply want to learn how to safely coexist with these remarkable animals, this program offers something for everyone.

This program is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
